G-Cloud status for Redcentric

01 October 2013

Redcentric has successfully achieved G-Cloud status. Under the framework agreement for the provision of G-Cloud services, Redcentric is fully accredited to provide Infrastructure-as-a-Service (Lot 1) and specialist Cloud services (Lot 4) to any public sector organisation.

Fraser Fisher, Chief Operating Officer at Redcentric said:"We are delighted to have achieved G-Cloud status so that we can actively be involved in helping the Government achieve its objective to make large, cross-governmental economies of scale, deliver flexible and responsive ICT systems and take advantage of new technologies.

"We are a customer-focused end-to-end managed service provider and can offer a range of Cloud-based services to help improve productivity and efficiency and we can now use this expertise to meet the specific needs of many more public sector organisations."

The G-Cloud Programme was launched by the Government to fundamentally change the way in which the public sector procures and operates ICT.
