Redcentric cements public sector focus with place on Digital Outcomes and Specialists framework
06 February 2017
Managed services provider Redcentric has today announced that it has been awarded a place on the government's Digital Outcomes and Specialists framework.
It has been listed within Lots 1 and 2, with Lot 1 capabilities based (eg security, support and operations) and Lot 2 roles-based (eg cyber security consultant, programme delivery manager). Though a complementary framework to G-Cloud, Digital Outcomes and Specialists is proactive in nature, with buyers publishing OJEU contract notices through the Digital Market Place.
Launched last year through the Digital Marketplace, the framework has the specific aim of helping the public sector buy, design, build and deliver digital outcomes using an agile approach, by procuring the appropriate specialist resource to deliver agile software development.
For Redcentric, this is welcome recognition of the value it can continue to bring to the public sector. Peter Nailer, Redcentric’s Framework Manager, commented:
“We have already established ourselves as one of the leading suppliers under G-Cloud, but the emphasis there has been on our commoditised Cloud-based offerings. A place on the Digital Outcomes and Specialists framework on the other hand will allow us to fully leverage the professional expertise resident in the teams here and cement our position as one of the leading partners for the public sector. Our people, in terms of the solutions they design, the services they deliver, the problems they solve, have been key to many digital transformation projects within the private sector. This latest award now gives us the opportunity to help public sector clients too, working together to drive through change initiatives, secure efficiencies and underpin innovation, improvement and value for money.”
