Redcentric awarded PSN connectivity status
03 July 2017
Leading UK IT managed services specialist Redcentric has announced that it has now received an enhanced certification for PSN (Public Services Network) connectivity service compliance from the Cabinet Office.
Redcentric has a long track record of PSN accreditation, allowing it to deliver its portfolio of managed services to government departments and agencies, but this specific certification extends that scope: it can now provide PSN circuitry to any organisation that is approved to connect to PSN.
Redcentric becomes one of only nine suppliers with third party PSN connectivity status, and will look to leverage its client centricty and commercial flexibility to appeal in particular to the growing number of ISVs serving the public sector.
Commenting on the achievement, Mark Hall, Chief Assurance Officer, said: “This removes the final barrier to our provision of networking right across the public sector and is pivotal to our on-going commitment to those organisations needing secure, robust and cost-effective PSN connectivity, as well as access to overlaid managed services. It also represents a very significant assurance effort, integrating multiple accreditations that is typically the preserve of the big Tier 1 providers, so we’re delighted that we can now introduce more choice and competition to the market.”
