Redcentric wins one card contract for Catlin Group limited

29 September 2010

Redcentric has been awarded a contract to install a 'One Card' system for the new Catlin Group Limited Head Office at 20 Gracechurch Street in the City of London. The contract is based around an integrated access control system specified by the client's IT consultant, Cordless Consultants. The design development, which has been carried out by the Redcentric in-house dedicated IP Security Team, will integrate technologies such as cashless vending, room booking, access control and CCTV around a centralised management platform. All Catlin staff and privileged external clients will be issued with a security pass that will eventually enable the holder to access Catlin sites worldwide with central control being administered by the Catlin teams housed at 20 Gracechurch Street.

The entire installation and integration will be carried out by Redcentric as part of the fit-out programme being co-ordinated by BW Interiors. To ensure a smooth, fast-track and environmentally responsible implementation, the integration and testing will be pre staged at Redcentric's 27,000sq ft purpose built Logistics Centre in Elstree, Hertfordshire, prior to deployment. The project starts immediately, with client occupation planned for Q1 2011.
