Redcentric support Young People of the Year in Cambridge

08 September 2011

Redcentric is proud to support the Young People of the Year awards in Cambridgeshire, with this year's winners set to be announced next week.

Young People of the Year (YOPEY) aims to "reveal, recognise and reward" young people who have overcome advertisity and had a positive impact on the lives of others. Ten finalists have been chosen, and an awards ceremony at Peterborough Cathedral on September 13th will announce the winners.

Prime Minister David Cameron said YOPEY is "truly inspirational" and said of entries: "It struck me that their common trait was their own determination; their desire to succeed; and their resolve to make a difference."

You can find out more about this year's nominees at the YOPEY website.

Redcentric is both a supporter and judge for the event. As a business with a strong presence in Cambridge, including Cambridge internet services via our metro network, it's one of the many ways Redcentric supports local communities. Find out more about Redcentric and the community.
