Redcentric provides a Service Level Agreement (SLA)-based Oracle hosting service offering a secure, resilient and scalable platform for consolidation of existing and new databases, utilising Oracle Engineered Systems Exadata Database Machine, Exalogic Elastic Cloud, Oracle SuperCluster, Virtual Compute Appliance, Oracle Database Appliance, Oracle Exalytics In-Memory Machine, Oracle Big Data Appliance and Oracle ZFS Storage.
Oracle Engineered Systems in the Redcentric Cloud
The Hosting Service can comprise an N3 or PSN-connected Private Cloud, enabling customers to consolidate server, storage, and database workloads onto integrated hardware and software infrastructure owned by, entirely dedicated to and only accessible by the customer’s end users, and which can facilitate agile optimised deployments leveraging Oracle Database, Oracle Real Application Clusters (RAC) and Oracle Engineered Systems.
The hosting service can incorporate customer-purchased & owned Oracle Engineered Systems platform assets, and include a full suite of transition (e.g. migration & on-boarding) services and 24/7/365 Live Environment, advanced monitoring & resolution services such as incident & change management, configuration management, administrative management, and patch recommendation & deployment.
Redcentric are able to meet the highest level SLAs, with respect to routine and emergency patch management, minimising any potential disruption to service levels.
Since the whole range of Engineered Systems are managed and monitored holistically, Redcentric are able to minimise our operational processes and reduce fault resolution points. This streamlines our fault identification processes when managing and monitoring, leading to better service response metrics.
Oracle Engineered Systems provide an extremely rapid method of scaling and upgrading infrastructure in known, pre proven base-lined configurations, thus Redcentric are able to minimise any future feasibility, design and deployment services required, should there be a requirement for future upgrades to any original deployments.
