Redcentric boosts cloud credentials with top Azure accreditation

Leading managed services provider Redcentric has announced that it has gained Microsoft Cloud Platform Competency at Gold level.

This acknowledges and validates the considerable investment in skills, resource and process that Redcentric has made in its Azure provision over the past 18 months. The award follows an intensive audit of technical competencies and project methodology, alongside a number of real world client references.

For Simon Michie, Redcentric’s CTO, the achievement is a highly significant one:

“This is real verification of our end-to-end expertise in Cloud, our track record in Azure, and supports our positioning as a trusted partner for the mid-market. Azure is a key growth area for us and increasingly we are being trusted to migrate and transform not just R&D workloads but full production environments. The Gold level competency underscores the fact that we have a mature, assured and proven way to engage with, and deliver for, clients looking to leverage MS Cloud.”

Recent customer projects certainly evidence that Redcentric is comfortable with a wide range of Cloud transformation challenges: these include a Desktop modernisation program with an extended proof of concept phase; migrating an entire infrastructure out of a hosted data centre with a weekend cut-over; and building a ‘crisis management’ platform capable of rapidly handling huge traffic spikes.
