Redcentric afforded PSN accreditation
12 July 2016
Redcentric is today announcing it has been awarded Public Services Network (PSN) accreditation, enabling the business to bring together all silos of the UK government on one platform.
The accreditation means Redcentric is now the only managed service provider offering connectivity to the Janet, N3 and Public Services Networks (PSN). The business can now therefore offer its services across the entire public sector, from healthcare, to local government and beyond. To earn this accreditation, the business has undergone lengthy and in-depth scrutiny and continued testing.
Mark Hall, Director of Public Sector at Redcentric, believes this is the next step towards offering the best possible service to the business’ clients. He says, “As the scale and complexity of the interconnected world has grown, it has become more important than ever that organisations are working as effectively and efficiently as possible. This isn’t possible if silos are present, meaning sharing critical documents and collaborating on projects is hampered by the platforms they work on.
“This is why it’s so important to gain this PSN accreditation as we’re now able to offer our services across the entire public sector, hugely simplifying the complexity within this industry. Our services will also be available much quicker, as any department connected to the PSN can be on-boarded at the flip of a switch, ensuring efficiency gains are achieved as quickly as possible.
“Gaining this accreditation hasn’t been easy and a lot of hard work has been put in by the team here to ensure we’re offering the highest quality service available on the market. I’m very proud to see the business reaping the rewards of the hard work which has been put in and this PSN accreditation is just another step in the right direction.”
