We’re an approved G-Cloud-12 service provider for the 7th year running

Redcentric has been successful in becoming an approved G-Cloud service provider for the 7th year running! The governments’ digital marketplace – G-Cloud, was set up in 2012, to allow public sector organisations to select and purchase cloud services from approved suppliers, speeding up the procurement process and enabling cost-savings. Since then, Redcentric has been providing cloud solutions over the G-Cloud framework to a myriad of public sector customers including the NHS, Education, Local and Central Government organisations.

The benefits that cloud services can deliver for the public sector have never been clearer than over the last 6 months. The pace of change has dramatically accelerated and remote-working and the ability to respond quickly to a totally different set of circumstances has meant organisations have had to pivot how they operate in an instant.

Cloud services have allowed many organisations to respond quickly during the pandemic and to be agile and flexible, enabling teams to work in new ways. Scalable cloud platforms have provided much needed flexibility and enabled organisations to work together, to be innovative and to develop new services quickly to meet new needs. These are the real-world benefits of ‘digital transformation’ in action.

Over the last few months, we’ve been supporting healthcare providers including GP practices who’ve been delivering services while working from home, accessing systems and data securely over the new HSCN network. New Nightingale hospitals have been set up and we’ve provided connectivity to networks. VoIP telephony has been deployed at new test centres and new models of patient triage created. Meanwhile, services provided by local government have continued to be delivered while staff have worked remotely.

There are now 17 services available on the G-Cloud framework from Redcentric, which include cloud hosting and connectivity, LAN, WLAN and cloud telephony as well as new services which include SD-WAN, call recording, VoIP on a SIM and Webex. With over 15 years’ experience providing cloud services to our public and private sector customers, we’re a trusted partner who can help you to address your challenges and advise and guide you on how to meet your objectives. When you’re ready to further your journey to the cloud, find us on G-Cloud.
