Don’t worry, this does not involve the criminal waste of tasty dough balls being rolled around the country! No, the Doughball Run is the brainchild of the PizzaExpress IT team and we’re delighted to be sponsoring them in their ambition to raise £10,000 for Macmillan Cancer Support. Inspired by the 1980s film classic ‘The Cannonball Run’, numerous Top Gear antics, and a love of cars and driving, the IT team decided to put together ‘The Doughball Run’ driving challenge.Running from Monday 24th June to Thursday 27th June, participating cars – costing no more than £500 – will start from PizzaExpress HQ in Uxbridge, head for Lands’ End and then up to John O’Groats and back down to PizzaExpress HQ. They’re even promising to stop by and visit sponsors with pizzas from the local restaurant as a thank you – fantastic, that’ll be 100 American Hots please!
