Senior figure in the construction industry presents new webcast

05 August 2013

Mark Evans, Head of IT at Rider Levett Bucknall (RLB), one of the largest construction practices in the UK, has produced a new webcast to advise construction firms on the benefits of moving to the Cloud.

Hosted by InTechnology, one of the UK's leading Cloud service providers, Mark's webcast "Moving to a Next-generation Data Centre" looks at how, in challenging economic times, it is more important than ever for construction firms to streamline and review their IT infrastructure in light of the latest Cloud computing developments.

Many construction and property sector organisations have moved away from internally-managed computer systems, now relying on outsourced IT infrastructure to support the growing need for value for money, responsive communications, and secure data and storage services.

Mark delves further into why construction organisations should take the step towards Cloud-based IT. His webcast looks into areas such as Cloud infrastructures, legal implications, business benefits, monitoring and ROI analysis.

The webcast is extremely useful for Chief Information Officers (CIOs) in the construction sector seeking to combat issues around security, purchasing, implementation and the environment, looking to take away the worry of capacity and liability if something goes wrong.
