Redcentric’s Workshop: Microsoft 365 and GDPR

Ensuring your compliance

Event Date: Leeds - Thursday 26th October

Venue: Leeds – The DoubleTree by Hilton

Timings: 8am-11am (Breakfast provided)

Microsoft partnerJoin Redcentric and Microsoft as we look at how, by moving to Microsoft 365, not only can your organisation increase productivity but also get ready for GDPR as it comes into effect next May.

This is a short workshop session with plenty of interaction and opportunities for you to ask your questions and ensure you leave with a clear understanding of the legal implications and technology compliance around GDPR that you can then take back to your organisation.

In May 2018, a European privacy law, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), is due to take effect. The GDPR imposes new rules on all organisations that offer goods and services in the European Union (EU), or that collect and analyse data tied to EU residents.

Microsoft recently introduced Microsoft 365, which brings together Office 365, Windows 10 and Enterprise Mobility + Security. This combination of products delivers an intelligent, secure solution and a platform for becoming GDPR compliant.

We'll be looking at how you can meet GDPR obligations by identifying or managing access to personal data and protecting personal data against security threats and identifying when a data breach occurs. We'll look at how Microsoft will be working towards Office 365 becoming compliant, the additional Office 365 products that you can layer to ensure your obligations are met as well as how Redcentric's professional services add value to your Office 365 solution.
